Day 01
The journey begins in the foothills

Dehradun / Haridwar to Barkot

OvernightBarkot

Meet your driver, settle into your vehicle, and begin the climb towards the peaceful Yamuna Valley. The route gradually leaves the plains behind for forested mountain roads, with sensible refreshment and comfort breaks along the way. On arrival in Barkot, check in and rest before the first temple journey.

Route and stops are adjusted to your group’s pace.
Day 02
Barkot • Janki Chatti • Yamunotri • Barkot

Yamunotri Darshan

OvernightBarkot

After an early start, drive to Janki Chatti—the roadhead for Yamunotri. Continue towards the shrine on foot or use locally arranged pony or palki services. Route and stops are adjusted to your group’s pace.
Day 03

Route and stops are adjusted to your group’s pace.
Day 04
Uttarkashi • Harsil Valley • Gangotri • Uttarkashi

Route and stops are adjusted to your group’s pace.
Day 05
A scenic cross-Himalayan transfer

Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

OvernightGuptkashi

Set out early for one of the longer road journeys of the yatra. The drive connects the Gangotri and Kedarnath sectors through changing valleys, riverside stretches, and hill towns. Your driver plans meal and rest breaks around road conditions so you arrive prepared for the Kedarnath pilgrimage.

Route and stops are adjusted to your group’s pace.
Day 06
Guptkashi • Sonprayag • Gaurikund • Kedarnath

Journey to Kedarnath

OvernightAs booked

Transfer by your dedicated taxi to Sonprayag, then follow the local administration’s transport process to Gaurikund. From there, continue to Kedarnath by trek, pony, palki, or a separately booked helicopter service. The day is kept flexible because access, queues, and weather can affect timings.

Route and stops are adjusted to your group’s pace.
Day 07
Kedarnath • Gaurikund • Sonprayag • Guptkashi

Kedarnath Darshan & Return

OvernightGuptkashi

Attend darshan according to your temple schedule and begin the descent with enough daylight and rest time. After reaching the local pickup point, reconnect with your driver for the transfer to Guptkashi. The evening is reserved for recovery before travelling towards Badrinath.

Route and stops are adjusted to your group’s pace.
Day 08
Through the Alaknanda Valley

Guptkashi to Badrinath

OvernightBadrinath

Continue towards Badrinath through a memorable landscape of river confluences, mountain settlements, and winding valley roads. Stops are planned around the group’s comfort and prevailing traffic. Settle in near Badrinath and prepare for darshan, with an evening visit possible when time permits.

Route and stops are adjusted to your group’s pace.
Day 09
Badrinath and nearby sacred sites

Badrinath Darshan & Mana Village

OvernightBadrinath / Pipalkoti

Begin with a visit to Badrinath Temple and allow unhurried time for darshan. Subject to weather, road access, and the group’s energy, continue to Mana for nearby points of interest. Afterwards, rest locally or begin the first stage of the return journey.

Route and stops are adjusted to your group’s pace.
Day 10
The return through the Alaknanda confluences

Badrinath to Rishikesh

OvernightRishikesh

Descend from the higher Himalayas towards Rishikesh, with opportunities to pause at significant confluences or viewpoints when the schedule permits. This is another substantial road day, so the plan includes practical meal and comfort stops rather than rushing through the mountains.

Route and stops are adjusted to your group’s pace.
Day 11
A gentle final leg home

Rishikesh to Dehradun / Departure

OvernightJourney complete

After breakfast or according to your onward schedule, complete the final transfer to Dehradun, Haridwar, the railway station, or the airport. Your driver coordinates the drop-off around your confirmed departure details, bringing the Char Dham circuit to a comfortable close.

Route and stops are adjusted to your group’s pace.

Planning note: This is a suggested road itinerary, not a fixed timetable. We can add buffer days or adapt overnight stops for senior travellers, children, helicopter bookings, and seasonal road conditions.
